People might think Jesse Ventura was joking when he said the RCC ought to be prosecuted under RICO, but he’s exactly right that it was precisely this type of organized crime that the RICO Act was passed to prosecute.
And now we know *beyond all doubt* that the RCC and its *loser* members are a FAR, FAR greater danger to the USA than the Mafia who WAS successfully prosecuted under the RICO Act.
If we claim to be a law-abiding nation, we MUST follow THAT law:

LONDON—There’s more fallout today from the child sex abuse scandal in the Catholic Church. Belgium’s longest serving bishop resigned and admitted he abused a boy.
Belgian Bishop Roger Vangheluwe is the latest head to roll in the Catholic Church child sex scandal.
The country’s longest serving Bishop admitted to sexually abusing a young boy 25 years ago.
The Belgian Archbishop read a statement from the fallen bishop in which he asked for forgiveness, saying ‘this has marked the victim forever. The wound does not heal, neither in me or the victim.‘
Belgium is the latest country to be pulled into the widening sex scandal in the Catholic Church. Charges now stretch throughout Europe and the US.
On Thursday Pope Benedict accepted the resignation of Irish Bishop James Moriarty who admitted he knew about sexual abusers and failed to report them to police.
On the same day German Bishop Walter Mixa offered to step down for beating children decades ago.
Earlier this week, Pope Benedict made his most direct comments about the scandal – promising to take action, but did not spell out what he would do.
Hundreds of people have stepped forward in the past few months accusing priests of sexually abusing them – and church leaders of turning a blind eye to their claims.
But the Vatican is dismissing charges in a U-S lawsuit filed Thursday – claiming the highest leadership of the Roman Catholic Church knew about sex abuse allegations at a school for the deaf in Milwaukee – and called off punishment of the accused priest.
The scandal is blowing (no pun intended!) worldwide!!!
It’s time to use RICO (Racketeer Influenced Corruption Act) on the church just like it’s been used on the Mafia and other corrupt conspiracies! It’s been suggested by Jesse Ventura:
In fact, it’s apparently already beginning:
